Description
Dark Escapes Publishing was founded in August 2020 with the initial aim of providing a more songwriter-centric admin style publishing arrangement that offered songwriters, and artists, a more flexible arrangement and increased control of their rights.
A few months later, the Dark Escapes Publishing team registered Dark Escapes Music to become both a global digital distribution platform and indie label, providing more frontend support to signed artists. In doing so, we are able to offer a specially crafted hybrid deal to signed artists, where they are provided with global distribution on all major DSPs while their basic publishing needs are also taken care of.
As Dark Escapes Publishing continues to solidify its foundations, it will begin to move forward as a music publishing entity and look to open up other avenues such as more advanced publishing deals, sync licencing opportunities, and so on.
